11-17-2011  'PS I Love You' premiers Nov.21 on TV5!

TV5's "PS I Love You" is a sequel to the original '80's movie of Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta. Kristine, played by Sharon is now played by Dina Bonnevie.

Their love affair did not have a happy ending and they now live separate lives with families of their own. What they felt was their greatest love was left behind. But, as fate would have it, their paths cross again and a new chapter in their lives begins.

Directed by Robert Quebral and Elaine Lozano, PS I Love You is co-produced by TV5 and Viva TV. It airs Monday to Friday after Glamorosa starting November 21 on TV5.

The other cast of characters are Candy Pangilinan, Cheska Inigo, Mark Flores, Say Alonzo, Jaycee Parker, Melissa Mendez, Nikki Bacolod, Al Chris Galura, Sarah Polverini and Cogie Domingo, with the special partcipation of Lloyd Samartino.

Gabby is taking a break from TV, movies, and recording. His fans miss him in everything. He was too fast traveling... But, he will rise above soon. A new movie with Regal Films is in the works. He will star in this new romantic comedy with Ruffa Guttierrez and Pokwang, his wife in the movie.

1-23-2011  Taking a moment to look back at 2010

2010 was an amazing and exciting year for Gabby Concepcion! Looking back, Gabby was traveling the globe to promote ABS-CBN’s teleseryes and TFC (The Filipino Channel). Among the countries he performed in, together with other entertainers and Kapamilya stars are the US, Malaysia, Japan, England, Australia, China, and Canada. They drew huge crowds in record-breaking numbers abroad. He really enjoys what he’s doing and it shows. Later in the year, he performed at his daughter, KC’s concerts in CA where his second home is.

“Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” was consistently in close 2^nd place for 6 months and the final episode was in first place, with a 42.7% rating based on the TV ratings by TNS.  Congratulations to the cast and to ABS-CBN for dominating the ratings!

Another great accomplishment of ABS-CBN and the show’s cast is the success of “Dahil May Isang Ikaw” that was nominated for Best Telenovela at the 38^th International Emmy Awards held on Nov. 22, 2010 in New York.  ABS-CBN increased its consolidated revenues by 35% compared to 2009!  

While they were shooting “KTM”, Gabby was also busy doing shows and promoting his “Unforgettable” CD and filming the movie, “I’ll Be There”.

Somehow, he was also able to find time to attend rehearsals for his 2-night concert, “Gabby’ng K ganda”,  that was nominated for ‘Best Collaboration in a Concert’ at the 23^rd Aliw Awards.

The former Regal Baby then made his comeback movie with Regal Entertainment, "White House", after the series’ run.

He was nominated for Best Actor in the 58th FAMAS awards for his role in "I Love You, Goodbye".

Gabby was also busy doing commercials for Aquabest, I/M clothing, RRJ and Lucida-DS.

He was featured and was on the cover of “Franchise Today” magazine for being a successful franchise endorser and owner. Alongside showbiz, he also oversees his other businesses in the Philippines and the US. He nevertheless manages to balance work and family.

He is so energetic, smart, talented,  gorgeous, humble, funny and sweet... Gabby, we love you for "all the things" you are!

10-25-2010  "White House", Gabby Concepcion's Comeback Movie with Regal

Gabby Concepcion, one of the original Regal Babies, handsome as ever, thought he'd never do a movie with Regal again but all is forgotten when Mother Lily reached out to him first with a very thoughtful gesture not long ago. He is grateful that Mother Lily Monteverde gave him a chance to star in the movie, "White House".  Most of the movies he made before he left showbiz in 1995 were produced by Regal Entertainment. This movie gave him a chance to work with the second generation actors and the young talented director, Topel Lee. Through the years, Gabby made us laugh and he made us cry...now he's going to make us scream.

8-30-2010  Gabby Concepcion stars in Regal Films' Horror Flick, "White House"!

Regal Films has released the movie trailer of their upcoming horror flick – White House. White House stars Iza Calzado, Lovi Poe, Joem Bascon, Janus del Prado, Megan Young, Mo Twister, Sarah Lahbati, Jairus Aquino, Lui Villaruz, Angel Jacob, Maricar Reyes and Gabby Concepcion . 7-18-2010  Gabby Concepcion at the London Barrio Fiesta record-breaking concert!

Gabby Concepcion, Melason (Melai and Jason), Pokwang, Vina Morales, Randy Santiago, and Giselle Sanchez were the celebrity performers at the 26th Barrio Fiesta event organized by the Philippine Centre and The Filipino Channel (TFC). An estimated crowd of more than 50,000 people gathered in Lampton Park in Hounslow on July 17 and 18. The Hounslow Barrio Fiesta event is always celebrated in a grand scale and has become a modern tradition which brings Filipinos from all over Europe together and promotes a feeling of camaraderie and unity. Gabby Concepcion whipped the crowd into a frenzy by serenading love songs like "Iisa Pa Lamang" and "Come What May".

6-20-2010  “I’ll Be There” Premiere at SM Megamall on June 15 a Huge Success!

Thank you for the overwhelming support of the fans! Gabby, KC, and Jericho are very happy and proud of their movie. Gabby said, “This movie was such a thrill. It’s so exciting. You never know what to expect.” It’s indeed a beautiful movie that can really move your soul.

Hats off to Director Maryo J. delos Reyes also, who only has positive words to describe his filming experience with Gabby and KC Concepcion, Jericho and the rest of the cast. He said working with winners made his job so much easier. Gabby’s fans really enjoyed the movie although they can’t stand watching him cry so they were all crying with him. But, the fans weren’t the only ones to give the cast their full support. Kapamilya stars Sam Milby, Gerald Anderson, Coco Martin Christian Bautista, and many others were also spotted in the movie’s premiere.

I’ll Be There is Star Cinema’s Father’s Day offering and is showing in theaters nationwide.

At the press conference, they surprised Gabby with the announcement that he will be reunited with his ex-wife Sharon Cuneta when he guests in her talk show, "Sharon", in a week's time to promote their movie. "Sinosorpresa nila ako. But I like surprises." Gabby said he is very thankful that I’ll Be There" gave him the opportunity to catch up on bonding times with his daughter. Napakasarap  kasi ‘yung oras na gusto mong bawiin, makahanap sana ako ng tiyempo habang nandidito ako sa Pilipinas e nagawa ko na. Gumawa kami ng pelikula kaya halos araw-araw magkasama kami.Bawing bawi. Pero parang kulang pa nga e. Pero ito na ‘yung pinakamaraming araw na magkasama kami. Kaya masaya naman ako dun.” Gabby pointed out that the story of "I’ll Be There" doesn’t reflect what really happened between him and KC. “Totoo talaga ‘yung emosyon namin sa pelikula pero hindi naman talaga ganun ‘yung nangyari sa amin sa tunay na buhay. Itong pelikula hindi patterned sa tunay na buhay namin. Karamihan nga baliktad. Meron din namang ilang totoo, like ‘yung eksena sa beach na ‘yung tungkol sa starfish, itinuro ko sa kanya ‘yun nung bata siya at naalala niya ‘yun.”

3-17-2010  A Dream Come True for Gabby Concepcion

Gabby and his look-alike daughter, KC Concepcion, with his former wife, Sharon Cuneta, are filming their first movie together titled, "I'll Be There For You"! They attended an acting workshop in January to prepare for their upcoming movie where they were able to spend time to bond and let their bottled-up feelings out. The two were once separated and this was the first chance they got to deal with their issues. After their emotional breakdown during the workshop, they realized how much they love each other and feel they are closer than ever now. KC's love interest in the movie is Jericho Rosales who was one of Gabby's castmates in the hit teleserye, "Dahil May Isang Ikaw".

Gabby Concepcion is really humbled by the success of his comeback movie , "I Love You, Goodbye", and teleserye that ended on Jan. 15, 2010, "Dahil May Isang Ikaw".  He is very grateful that people still recognize his talents and thanks God for all the very many blessings he received since he returned to showbiz in 2008.

“I Love You, Goodbye” won 2^nd Best Picture and placed 2^nd in box office returns domestically, beating most of the big-budgeted action and fantasy films that usually dominate the Metro Manila Film Festival that ran from Dec. 25, 2009 - Jan. 7, 2010. The movie had special screenings in major U.S. cities: LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, Jersey City, Honolulu, and Seattle, from January 8-14, 2010.

“Dahil May Isang Ikaw” hit the finish line in 2^nd place with a national score of 42.6%, only 0.1% behind “May Bukas Pa” in 1^st place with 42.7% in the Primetime category. (TV Ratings Philippines - TNS National TV Ratings effective, January 15, 2009.)

"Dahil May Isang Ikaw" will be shown in Malaysia soon. Gabby and Jericho were in Malaysia last Valentine's Day and did a show to promote the series. They were overwhelmed by the warm welcome they received from both the Filipinos and Malaysians there.

And happy ako that I became part of this tour to promote 'Dahil May Isang Ikaw' na ipapalabas sa Malaysia.".

2-04-2010  "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" is keeping Gabby Concepcion busy these days also

Gabby is pleased with the success of his new teleserye and is very grateful to ABS-CBN's management and creative team for giving him the opportunity to be part of such great projects as "Iisa Pa Lamang", "Dahil May Isang Ikaw", and now, "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo".

"Kaya rin naman naging successful yung mga shows na sinalihan ko dahil mula production staff hanggang mga executives ang gagaling nila. Masasabi ko 'yan ngayon kasi nakikita ko yung pagkakaiba. Binibigay ko na yung buhay ko sa talent ng ABS-CBN kasi nakikita ko ang resulta."

The new teleserye is a combination of drama, romance, and action. His role as a NBI agent is requiring him to keep physically fit and he is doing so by playing racket sports like badminton and tennis. Gabby also maintains a diet high in protein to keep his energy level up. 1-28-2010  Gabby Concepcion promotes his "Unforgettable" CD from Warner Music

After his self-titled CD went gold and making the ultimate CD, "Unforgettable", there really is no reason why Gabby still wonders whether people will ever see him as a singer. "Unforgettable" is the classic CD that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The same girls who watched Gabby's movies in the 80's and 90's are screaming like schoolgirls again when they hear him sing live.

"I now know why a singer sounds different live. More than the technical aspect, it's about feel. When a singer records his songs in the studio, he is on a different mindset, that is, to perfect this version because that is what many people will hear forever.
