5-09-2012  Regal Films' "The Mommy Returns" Opens in Theaters on May 9! Red Carpet Premiere at SM Mega Mall Cinema 9 on May 8 at 7 pm!

"THE MOMMY RETURNS" is a family comedy-horror movie about a mother, Ruby (POKWANG) who dies right on the day of her 25th wedding anniversary with gorgeous husband, William (GABBY CONCEPCION). With her untimely death, she is temporarily trapped in PURGA (short for Purgatory) with its guardian, Dyoga (JOHN LAPUS, ang diyosa ng purga) and the pesky Manny, the chicken pet of San Pedro.

Enter CATHERINE (RUFFA GUTTIEREZ) - a younger, fresher, and much, much prettier woman who comes into the life of William. When she threatens to take Ruby's place as mother to her three beloved children (KIRAY, GERALD PESIGAN and JILLIAN WARD), hell (er, purgatory) breaks loose as Ruby escapes back to earth as a ghost to scare and drive Catherine out of the family she left behind!

What follows is a riot of scary antics and tactics that will prove that "hell hath no fury like a dead woman," especially if she is a mother who can't leave her children behind!
This year's Regal Films' laugh-til-you-cry Mother's Day offering is directed by JOEL LAMANGAN from a screenplay by Senedy H. Que. It opens nationwide on May 9, 2012.

11-21-2011  'PS I Love You' Premiers on Nov.21, 2011 on TV5!

TV5's "PS I Love You" is a sequel to the original '80's movie of Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta. Kristine, played by Sharon is now played by Dina Bonnevie.

Their love affair did not have a happy ending and they now live separate lives with families of their own. What they felt was their greatest love was left behind. But, as fate would have it, their paths cross again and a new chapter in their lives begins.

Directed by Robert Quebral and Elaine Lozano, PS I Love You is co-produced by TV5 and Viva TV. It airs Monday to Friday after Glamorosa starting November 21 on TV5.

The other cast of characters are Candy Pangilinan, Cheska Inigo, Mark Flores, Say Alonzo, Jaycee Parker, Melissa Mendez, Nikki Bacolod, Al Chris Galura, Sarah Polverini and Cogie Domingo, with the special partcipation of Lloyd Samartino.

9-03-2011  Star Magic Ball 2011

Gabby Concepcion looked absolutely gorgeous at the 5th Star Magic Ball held at the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati.  He escorted funny lady, Pokwang, who looked stunning in her own unique style. They have started shooting their movie with Regal Films, entitled, “Ded na Ded Ako Sa ‘Yo”, set to open in theaters on Nov. 30.

His 3-year contract with ABS-CBN expired early this year and he is no longer under the management of Star Magic. His new manager is Mr. Vic del Rosario of Viva Films with co-manager, Mrs. Rose Flaminiano. He has no exlusive contract with any station right now. When asked why he chose Vic, his answer was, “Ah, nag-usap-usap silang mga managers (Boss Vic, Mommy Rose). And ako, nakikinig naman ako. I’m a team player. So, kung ano na lang ang makakabuti para sa lahat, eh sumusunod na lang ako. ‘Yun na lang para wala nang intriga!”.
